Collective Banter is an online guild with the primary mission of fostering the creation of art.

Our long-term commitment is to enable artists across creative domains to Generate art, Communicate ideas, and Celebrate their accomplishments. In this fast-paced eWorld, our desire is to create an environment where artists might linger to encourage one another along the creative journey. Bringing an original idea to shape takes many forms, but always begins with a creative impulse. Collective Banter is committed to providing opportunities for artists to communicate their unique process to mentor and spur on the community at large.

Our mission is to produce eArtisanal publications that honor the artist and the audience. Our eGuild is devoted to publishing the works of emerging and established writers, artists, and composers/songwriters. We welcome the distinctness of craft that demonstrates command of language, image, and sound. We want the creative work of the eGuild to engage the imagination in such a way that the creative impulse of the reader, listener, or viewer might, in turn be called to create. Artists interested in submitting should first become familiar with the creative merit of CB artists, but should be equally concerned with engaging in the work of promoting the mentorship of creativity.

Because we believe the arts have the potential to broaden the scope of literacy, we promote arts as language in the field of education. Creative writing, music, and visual art have the power to unlock academic and human mysteries. No child should be left behind when it comes to learning to decode and encode the language of the phonics of arts. Collective Banter is dedicated to promoting creative literacy because the arts are not extra-curricular.
